More progress!!

Róisín jumped up on the bed while I was sitting on it and crawled into my lap!! This is only the second time she's been on the bed while I was there and the first time she trusted me enough to actually climb on top of me. I'm so very very encouraged :)

In other news, Rocky has proved to be quite responsive to squirt-bottle-in-the-face therapy. While you have trouble with cats not jumping on you, I have the exact opposite problem. Now I can type without a lap full of claws (not a good thing when you're wearing sweat pants and the cat can pretty much bench-press a car).

hmmm . . . I'll have to keep that in mind with Robin. While I have trouble getting Róisín to get on my lap, I also have trouble getting Robin off. Particularly when I'm trying to eat dinner at my computer, as I often do.

You try juggling a bowl of spaghetti while typing and constantly fending off the cat sitting in your lap who has determined that your dinner is in fact his.

*laugh* Midnight was like that before his big injury. I had to put him outside whenever I needed to eat, cook, or do anything involving food. He was more sedate after getting fixed, but still, the better he felt as time went on, the more he returned to his pain-in-the-ass ways.
I still miss him, though. I hope he's having fun out in the country with the other 12 cats. *sigh*
