no problem :) Now that I have time to read I'm trying to fill some gaps in my knowledge. Herodotus is fascinating as a contemporary view of a lot of what we consider ancient history. I forget exactly when he was writing, but it wasn't that long after Homer, and before Alexander the Great and such. Plus, he considers himself an academic and a historian, so everything he writes is well-researched, and he gives all his sources.
