Found a house!

Finally found a place to live come August. It's a little 2-bedroom duplex in the Rosewood area (for you Columbia people). The big bedroom (which I'm taking, since I'm the one putting down the security deposit) is about the same size as my room now, sadly minus the walk-in closet and master bathroom. The smaller room is actually a little smaller than Tommy's is now, but he didn't seem to mind too much. Plus we managed to go from splitting a 3 room house between 3 people to splitting a 2 room house between 2 people with only a $7 increase in monthly rent per person. Which will probably be more than made up by lower utility bills. So it's a good thing.

No washer and dryer -- hookups only -- so unless we find a really cheap washer and dryer for sale somewhere we'll have to spend time at the laundromat. But it's got hardwood floors, decent sized closets, a huge kitchen, big livingroom, and a small backyard. I look forward to watching Robin slip and slide on the floors. Must get some rugs. And now I can call the lady who has Robin's sister and give her a timeframe for when I can take her. Our official move in date is July 1st, but the landlady gave us the key when we signed the lease yesterday and said we could move in whenever. That gives us a full six weeks to make a nice slow leisurely move. Hopefully I won't be scrubbing carpet stains at 3am the night before I had to turn in the key like last time.
