(no subject)

So, Christmas with my family has so far gone much better than I suspected. And I got a new Palm for Christmas so I'm very happy and full of plans for ultimate organisation. We'll see how those turn out. I've also made plans to go visit my Aunt and Uncle (the ones my mother doesn't like) Wednesday evening and so far she hasn't said anything about it, so perhaps there might be a chance of maintaining both close relationships without inciting major drama this time.

Of course, in a few hours we'll be heading up to Lancaster for 3 days of just me and my parents so that'll be the real test, but so far I'm much encouraged.

And danorsong, I'll be seeing you soon!

Arrived in Lancaster, settled into hotel room, and had a wonderful Thai dinner (I had duck!) with danorsong and my parents. Then danorsong kidnapped me and we had chai, followed by excited greetings from her dog and her parents (the dog was *very* excited), meetings with some friends of hers, and "Once More With Feeling". I'd only seen it once, although I own the soundtrack. Damn Lisa for resurrecting my Buffy addiction!

Anyway, I'm off back to the hotel. No internet connection for the next few days. I'll check back in on Tuesday or Wednesday.
