50bookchallenge, 15000pages
Jul. 17th, 2005 08:12 pmBook #17 -- J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, 652 pages
I'm not going to say much about this one. It's brilliant, absolutely brilliant, but then, what else do you expect. I will say without going into spoilers that I never in a million years would have guessed who the Half-Blood Prince was, even though there were obvious clues staring me right in the face. And that I ended the book with a great number of questions which I hope will be finally answered in the next one. This series is now going in a very different direction than I would have thought, but I think that's a good thing.
Progress toward goals:
17/50 = 34%
4904/15000 = 32.7%
