50bookchallenge, 15000pages

I am sometimes amazed by the time-frame of this series. In the past, two and a half months, the main character has discovered she has these powers, found the love of her life . . . twice, been inches from death . . . three times, and found out her parents weren't who she thought they were . . . twice. No wonder she's a bit of a basket case by the end of this one. That said, I really hate the whole 'We-must-break-up-even-though-our-relationship-is-perfect-because-I'm-cursed-and-everyone-around-me-gets-hurt' bullshit teen books like to play, and I hope she gets over it quickly in the next book. Yup, these books are crack.
