More proof that my brain doesn't work in the morning

This morning, I got into work, decided to get a coffee, and took my wallet out of my purse and put it in my back pocket. I then got distracted by an email, and several minutes later, remembered that I had wanted that coffee. So I dug through my purse for my wallet, which wasn't there. Then I started panicking, wondering where I could have dropped it. I was really hoping it was in the car, since the last time I remembered getting it out was on a public bus last night, and that would have been very bad if I'd dropped it there. I was halfway to my car to check for it and more than halfway to an anxiety attack when I realised it was in my back pocket where I'd just put it less than 10 minutes before.
