Druidry

Ok, so I got stalled for awhile, but I finally went ahead and officially joined the AODA (Ancient Order of Druids in America). I'm going to perform the candidate initiation just after midnight on Nov 1st, to take advantage of the New Year energies. This also means I'll finally be posting to gwyn_druidry, my druid journal (I might even go ahead and make it a paid account, so I can futz with the layout and make it all pretty and druid-like). It's friends-only, so if you want to follow along, comment to be added. I think I'm settled enough now to put some real effort into it this time, and I'm really quite excited.

I'm jealous. I can't seem to settle into my studies for ADF -- partly because I really don't have a private retreat at the moment.

Well there's no way of knowing if I'll actually accomplish what I intend to do, but having a structured form to do it in helps, I think. And having people watch the journal to see what progress I'm making should help too. I figure on making daily updates on what I'm doing for each of the study paths. "Nothing today" would be a valid entry sometimes, but at least putting it down will force me to pay attention if I start to go too long without progress.

Hee, after posting previous comment, it showed my cat sitting right on top of that leaf, very surreal :)
I like various shades of red, actually find some of them them soothing
like a warm campfire or candle glow, an intense deep reflective scarlet/crimson or purple red ruby, crystal clear but full of shifting shades and scenes of colours.
