There's a small independent jewelry store near me that has a large screen with cycling ads. They like to think they're clever, although I find a number of their ads sexist and insulting. My least favourite is "Wife Insurance".

However, today they had a new one: "We can rebuild it. Faster, stronger, cleaner. We have the techology!" accompanied by a picture of what I can only assume is a very high tech jewelry repair machine. Even I can admit that one's clever.

No, most of their messages aren't. I don't see that last one as particularly sexist though. Although I suppose you could argue the Bionic Woman was inherently sexist, but I'm just going to take it as a clever pop culture reference. Besides, I never really watched the show but I loved the short-lived remake with my name-twin Michelle Ryan.

Laser welder? They keep getting cheaper by the year. I must admit i'm tempted and may fall once they get to under $10K or so.
