Stuff

There are actually a lot of movies in the theatre recently that I want to see but haven't gotten around to. I never did see Batman Begins. And I want to see Bewitched. And of course I must see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I also want to see the Fantastic Four, despite all the bad stuff I've heard about it. I'll just go in with low expectations :) And Howl's Moving Castle has finally come to Baton Rouge, so I must see that as well. And to top it all off, I'd also like to see War of the Worlds, which looks to be nothing like the book, but fun anyway. Things blowing up is always fun.

So that's what, 6 movies I have to see some time in the next week or two. Guess I better get started. I think I'll go see Howl tonight.

So, one of the main terms for a librarian who is the only library professional in his/her organization is a one-person-librarian. The first time I read this term, I was a little confused. Aren't all librarians only one person? I've yet to meet a more-than-one-person-librarian. Perhaps if a pair of conjoined twins decided to be librarians they might count as a two-person-librarian. Or perhaps a librarian with multiple personalities would count.

Of course, then I realised that the term really meant "a librarian in charge of a one-person-library", which makes more sense. But really. They could choose a term that was a little less confusing.

Grumble

So my computer doesn't have Flash installed. And apparently I'm not allowed to have Flash installed, because when I try, I get an error message saying I don't have access to the drive. Do you know how many websites I simply cannot get to because they require Flash? Flash is all well and good, but there really ought to be non-Flash versions for those of us who are Flash impaired. Speaking of which, I don't suppose anyone can check out the Serenity Movie Website and see what they say about upcoming releases, premiers, etc.? Anything in the Louisiana area? I hate not being able to look for myself.

4pm -- Go home, take nap. TGIF.
6:15pm -- grab quick dinner (leftovers) and go to see Howl's Moving Castle at 7pm
9pm -- Pick Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell back up and don't put it down until it's finished. Even if that is 4am.

Tomorrow --
??am -- Read last 10 pages of Herodotus
As soon as it arrives -- Read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
