After about 2 months of conflicting schedules, ear mite infections, and other trials of cat ownership, the woman who has Robin's sister and I have finally set a date. By 10am Wednesday morning, I will be the proud owner of a pair of siblings. I am thrilled. We've been having some behaviour problems with Robin lately that I think are largely due to the fact that after getting used to being around other cats, he was suddenly alone and bored. I'm hoping having his sister around will divert his attention to less annoying pursuits. And hopefully he'll help her out too. The woman who has her hasn't really been able to spend much time with her one-on-one, and she says she's still very skittish. She'll let herself be petted, but she startles easily and won't let anyone pick her up. Hopefully Robin, who has turned out to be a very affectionate lapcat and loves to be picked up, will set an example for her.
I can't wait to see her again. When she and Robin were both still feral, I couldn't tell the two of them apart by looks -- they were identical. It'll be interesting to see if that's still the case. I'll have to make sure to get her a different coloured collar :)
And now I must go back to my Marlowe :-(
