Book #15 -- Chris Wooding, Storm Thief, 310 pages.

This was an incredible book. Set the island city of Orokos in a post-apocalyptic world in which chaos storms rewrite matter every time they pass through, it follows the adventures of two thieves of the undesirable ghetto class who have stumbled upon an ancient artifact desperately coveted by both sides of the law. The book reminded me somewhat of The City of Ember, but much darker. Definitely recommended.

I read Storm Thief in January and was very impressed. I'll certainly read more of his books, but right now I'm re-reading Running with the Demon by Terry Brooks, and this time I'm going to read the other books in that series.
