I think we can definitely say this year's ALA haul will dwarf last year's. Only two of the six boxes I shipped came today, and already I unpacked over 50 books. So we're probably looking at about 150 total. Damn. When *am* I going to read all this stuff?

Honestly? Let me know which ones you want and I'd be happy to ship them off if it looks like I won't want to keep them. Even if I do want to keep them I'm willing to do long distance borrowing, once I've read it myself.

Well the deLint I'm definitely keeping, and you've got one person ahead of you for the borrowing, but when I get it back from them I'll let you know. The only other one I've read so far is Robin McKinley's Dragonhaven, about a young man raising a baby dragon in secret that he found orphaned in a dragon reserve.

I'm taking summer classes, and working 2 jobs right now. So after either summer school is over, or I'm down to one job, I'll ask you to ship me some books ok? That way, you'll actually get them back someday.

I didn't get that many because I was there for less time and I had to schlep them all down on the metro. However, I can safely say that bookcrossing is going to be doing a good business with me! I even started a second account (under my online name… so I could offer them on my LJ) for the occasion.
