This was mostly a pained gasp, followed by an immediate grabbing of the kitten's head and his swift deposit on the floor. And then me pulling my shirt down. He looked very put out that his shiny toy had been taken away.
eeyagh! That sounds even more painful. My belly button ring is many years old now, so painful as it may be, it'd take a lot to damage it. A newer piercing though -- and the nipples are supposed to be the most painful to have pierced (although I hear they're fun to play with afterward) :)
On the one hand, I'm saying ow. On the other...I would have been amused at the evil kitten's cuteness.
A friend of mine...well, one of my friends who has their nipples pierced says that one piercing didn't hurt at all. And the other one...well, I won't put down exactly what she said since it isn't work safe language.
My girlfriend once asked her piercer what was the most painful piercing for both a man and a woman. For a man, he said it was one of the penile piercings (I can't remember which one). But for a woman he said all his female clients had told him the nipple was even more painful than any of the genital ones. I've never had my nipple pierced, so I wouldn't know. I considered getting my labia pierced, but as I'm currently single I don't have that much incentive. Maybe later :)
Oh, now *that* sounds painful. Those birds have quite a grip, I'm told. Luckily Finnegan was just playing with mine, so it was relatively easy to pry him away from it and cover it up.
actually, I had a friend who had the same kind of parrot I did (jendaya conure) she had a large mole on her neck..Parrots tend to groom thier owners, especially if they are very close them. Enlil used to groom my eyebrows and lashes, and even tried to stick her beak up my nose and clean my nose and in my mouth! (she could have been a great dental hygenist if I'd let her!) Linda's parrot was grooming her one day and reached that mole and SNIP, off it came! Linda rushed ot the doctor, he stitched it up and said the parrot did a neater job of it than he could of, but he really didn't recommend it for her other moles, lol!!! Her parrot probably though it was some type of insect attached to her and removed it, it was grooming after all!
I've kittens nurse on my earlobes and pull out an earring once too, lol!!

Date: 2007-08-01 04:08 am (UTC)that you really *don't* want your cats to discover :)
When cats discover that their people come with built-in "cat toys"
just for them, they are so happy, judging from stories i've heard.
And i thought it was annoying with cats batting at pendants i wear around
my neck...
