Kittens do not find mini marshmallows appetising. They do, however, find them much fun to play with and will, given the opportunity, remove them from the bag and spread them all over the apartment.

I learned that one the hard way too. I left a bag of mini-marshmallows on my desk one night.

When I got up the next morning, the bag was off the desk and there were marshmallows everywhere.

I'm still finding hard little marshmallow mummies.

See, the mistake I was making was in thinking of marshmallows as food, not as toys. Clearly I am much deluded.
