Ok, good. Still didn't mean to post without a spoiler cut, but I'm glad you're not mad at me for :) And I agree with you. In the interview he gave he said something about how he had to make himself give it up now or they'd be prying the role out of his cold dead fingers. And all I can think is 'works for me!' Eckleston was my first Doctor, after which I went back and watched a bunch of the older stuff, but Tennant is by far my favourite. I will be very sad to see him go.

Interesting...so he wanted to quit before he couldn't give up the role? Hopefully he's got some good stuff on the burner. I'll miss him terribly, though. I know some folks who just started watching the newest series. :(
